jennyh
Has anyone ever managed to attach the footmuff to the seat of the bee using the bit of fabric underneath? I mean the bit that is meant to stretch over the seat base but clearly isn't wide enough? jennyh
did you just pull until you got it on, or wiggle it a bit to try and get it over one side first? I am really struggling! Not that it really matters but it would be nice to have it on properly and the fact I can't is just bugging me, I hate a design fault on something so expensive! oimissus
I think mine went on fairly easily, it is a tight fit I grant you. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23487-bugaboo-bee-and-footmuff/#findComment-545017 Share on other sites
Convex
I had to call in helP! Started from side, pulled it really tight over each button. Hood off. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23487-bugaboo-bee-and-footmuff/#findComment-545024 Share on other sites

I have the bit that goes over the back of the chair on ok but can't hook the bit onto the actual seat base, there is a stretch of fabric which looks like it should stretch across the seat base but is really far too tight. maybe I have a different model, mine doesn't have any buttons....not to worry too much if I have confused you!! oimissus
there's a shop on Rye Lane that sells Bugaboo stuff (down the bottom near Asda) which might be able to help you wrestle it on? I think you must have a newer model to me, mine has buttons for the top bit too.Crazy that one should have a bloody footmuff on in May, I keep thinking I'll be able to take mine off any day and then it all goes pear-shaped! HollieES
Hiya...I was wondering about this, but have since learned that the strap isn't meant to go under the seat of the bee. This is a universal footmuff, designed to fit all models, and this strap is only for using it with the Chameleon or Frog models. With the Bee+, you just hook it over the buttons underneath the hood.Hope that helps, H x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23487-bugaboo-bee-and-footmuff/#findComment-545295 Share on other sites
Convex
Ah, mines the original bee. Sorry to have confused you!I was wondering if people used their footmuffs in winter. I assumed we'd leave it on and just zip off the cover bit. Is that crazy? oimissus
in summer, d'you mean? I take it all off, I think it's airier on really hot days. I think I had the whole thing off for around 3/4 months last year, and if the odd chilly day appeared I just used a blanket. It's a lot easier without it, you've got more strap to play with, if you see what I mean! jennyh
Ah thank you! That's a shame but at least it stops me carrying on trying! I can't wait to take it off, have a sheepskin on too so hardly have any straps to play with and the right angle of the seat is buried under an inch of puffiness.Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Hiya...I was wondering about this, but have since> learned that the strap isn't meant to go under the> seat of the bee.
