We are two families based in East Dulwich/Peckham Rye and have enjoyed being part of a very successful nanny share with a wonderful nanny for our two firstborn sons for the last 2.5 years. It has been a joy seeing our boys grow up together.

Both our families have recently each welcomed a new addition ? so we have a new set of baby boys in our nanny share!

As both mothers are returning to work in September/October, and both our toddlers starting full time nursery in September, we would need to ?tweak the existing share? so we can continue this exceptional match of families and nannies.

We are looking to add a set of helping hands who would be doing one toddler?s nursery pick ups, and join the rest of the bunch for the after school hours.

Specifically, we are looking for a live-out nanny who will be able to do the pick up at 3 and join our current nanny to give her a helping hand with tea and bath time for all four children (eldest both 3 years old; one 9 month and one 7 month old) before dropping two siblings back home (5 min drive from nanny share location).

This part time role would be ideally suited for a person/student motivated to gain nanny experience whilst completing studies or having other work commitments.

Responsibilities will include:

-Pick up from school

-Sometimes preparing meals

-Bathing the children

-Getting the children ready for bed

-Would potentially suit someone studying for their childcare NVQ or similar

-There would be the opportunity to babysit on weekday evenings and weekends too, or expand hours by helping out with morning routine and morning school drop off

Total Hours: 21 hours a week, potentially increased to 28 if also doing mornings, with potential to increase more via regular babysitting in evenings/weekends

3am pick up to 7 / 730 pm, with potentially add on 7.30 to 9 am morning routine

Apart from the mornings, evenings will mostly be working alongside our current nanny.

Clean driving licence and own car preferred.

First aid and dbs.

If you think this might work for you please PM me.

Thanks

    • Sounds like you've had some interesting evenings 🤣
    • Shame, go there!  Although embarrassingly we only used it takeaway during lockdown.  It's a Persian store/cafe/restaurant if you are unaware of the cultural reference in the name.   Just checked the menu and it is phenomenal and good value too, thanks for reminding me to go there  https://foratasteofpersia.co.uk/restaurant/
    • Avoiding the issue Bob, start a war and then walk away pretending that it was not you.  Good idea for a comedy sketch featuring John Cheese, sorry Cleese. In terms of what to guy.  Fortunately the modern food store makes this easy.  Thought that this was Waitrose's finest but disappointed to see that it is also on sale in Sainsbury's.  I understand that the (old) penny store, Marks and Sparks fails in terms of cheese selection boxes.
    • 484 route particularly hit. Tge driver said there are currently four sets of works with temporary traffic lights along the route. Experiencing it I could see why he was frustrated.   HP
