Brockwell Lido is bliss today!

After all the troubles during the heatwave Brockwell Lido was empty this morning, no queues- bliss! Left at noon and still no queues, just a few other families, all very calm and peaceful and lovely. Best place on a warm day!

Keep meaning to try and go for an early swim at the Lido. Does anyone know how it works? I'm assuming there are lots of lane swimmers plugging up and down. How would someone who does a few lengths ... slowly with breaks ... be received?

Lots of early swimmers but lots of lanes with different speeds. If you are a slow swimmer then the slow lane is very accepting and friendly to pootle along in.
