stina
We're planning a daytrip out of London on bankholiday Monday. Any suggestions where to go? We will have two three year olds and a baby with us, so somewhere child friendly but enjoyable for the adults too. We often go to Brighton and have been down to Rye - other suggestions..? Ideally it should be within an hour or two with train from ED. And it would be lovely to escape the buzz of London for a day... Forest, sea or country pub maybe?Any recommendations? reren
Have you tried hythe? On the coast and they have a steam train that runs along the coast to romney marshes - i have a weekend booked in june to go down to hythe so i dont have personal experience yet - but it sounds like a good weekend break? Theres also a safari park nearby i think? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23303-ideas-for-days-out-of-london/#findComment-542364 Share on other sites
