I know this seems unusual but i have done it before and it works. I have lived for the past 7+ years with another single mother in a 5 bed house in ED with all the financial savings and support that comes with this arrangement. And it's great for the kids. I would love to do it again and am wondering if there are any like-minded people out there? It could work for single dads too. Anyway putting feelers out. There seems to be a few suitable houses in the area for rent...

thanks!

    • If JoJo can't afford the increasing rent there (which was one of the reasons a staff member gave when I asked why they were closing), it's odd that a charity shop could - not doubting what you've been told, but it just doesn't make sense!
    • We have just got Eddie back for the second time! Great a clearing weeds, lopping bushes, etc. Reasonably priced at £16 per hour. You can contact him on +44 7742 044722
    • Agreed, the skate park should remain, especially with all the work those involved have put in to get it up, running and maintaining that enthusiasm.
    • Southwark is closing youth centres day centres they’re not going to spend millions on opening a new community space. What that area needs is a good supermarket. The nearest one is Sainsbury’s in Forest Hill. someone else may well know of the mechanism where a council can make a compulsory purchase. So the supermarket underneath with three or four stories of social housing long top built in the same style as the Dulwich estate.Next door.
