Yeah, I have to agree with both Max and Atila on those ones, seriously aggravating and not something you want to be privy to first thing in the morning on the way to work, though it could have been worse, I have actually seen a woman flossing her teeth on the bus grossing everyone out! I feel like jogging the make-up appliers so their mascara lands halfway up their faces! And turning around to people/kids being something they're not and saying "hey your'e white/Asian/whatever, why are you trying to be black?!"

interesting - what's so annoying about people putting their make up on? I get that shaving, filing your nails, flossing (!) where you leave bits of yourself behind is fairly gross, but why is make up so bothersome that it makes you wish violence upon the appliers?

Yeah - bad - I still have a sore at the roof of my mouth from a steaming brew I made the other day. Mind, while tea can burn (odd that I never get it with coffee), the very worst offenders are Chicago pizzas - the tomato sauce is always about 20 degrees hotter than the cheese on top and feels like it has just come out of a nuclear reactor.

ETA: must correct ourselves - liquids scald, not burn.

LOL! at Rolo, but isn't that when black people born here and with British accents put on fake Jamaican accents? or did I get it wrong again! Or West African or Somalians who put on fake Jamaican accents to impress? I'm confused now! Or is it white people trying to speak jamaican? My brain hurts...!

Well actually when women put on mascara, well some women, their faces contort incredibly and they open their mouths so that you can actually see their teeth, remnants of breakie etc. which I find gross, I said I'd like to jog accidentally on purpose, didn't say powerdrive or slamdunk them them into their seats

haha, fair point. and apologies, I did stray into the realm of hyperbole there - although I like the image of someone taking out their juicy tube only for you to sock it to them.

can't stand hairbrushing on public transport myself, especially with the head tossing

And on a more whimsical note, people in rush hour with wheeled luggage. If you must drag those bloody things around PLEASE look around you to check you are not inadvertantly knee-capping or toe-amputating those around you. (6)

I have to admit I can be guilty of applying my make-up on the journey to work. But that's because I'm sometimes really disorganised in the morning and it's a good time-saving option. I try to only do it when I'm sitting on my own on the seat though. It's when I cycle to work that it really becomes a problem...
