Painting afternoon next Thursday at The Crown and Greyhound!

Recommended Posts

PopUp Painting invites you to unleash your creativity ? drink in one hand, paintbrush in the other! No experience needed.

Our event at the Crown & Greyhound, Dulwich, will be themed around Monet?s lovely Tulips painting. Claude Monet?s work focused on capturing movement, changing light and colour ? go wild with those loose impressionistic brushstrokes!

Since 2013 our mission has been to bring art out of the classroom and gallery and into the places people meet on an every day basis. You?ll be guided step by step by a practicing artist, while you drink, paint and create your way to becoming an artist for the night!

Your experience will include:

All art supplies ? including paint, brushes, apron

Guidance from a qualified and practicing artist (but feel free to go off-piste!)

A themed playlist to immerse you in your experience

Refreshments are available for purchase from the bar.

    • Their website says: “This store is temporarily closing for refurbishment on the 24th December after closing time. We expect to reopen, bigger and better, in the middle of February 2025.”
    • My partner told me the other day that he had seen some in Southwark Park, and he had never seen any there before. I've only ever seen them near water, eg by the stream on the walk between Merton and Carshalton. Hoping I might get some in the garden now, it would make a nice change from sparrows, great tits and the robin, lovely as they are 😀
    • Thanks, I'll call them.  I don't think the letters would be sent out from the shop, so it's more likely that the info line would know.
    • Main info number is 0208 768 4500 you could try that
