I thought it was odd when it didn't start the other day. Call the rac and imagine my surprise to see that the battery wasn't even there! It's not an expensive thing, so don't really care, but just telling everyone that we got it changed recently and a bloke was hanging around asking the rac man to fix his car....could be related? I don't know, just goes to show how crap the car is, if that's the only thing they could find worth nicking!

Sorry for another negative post, I'm actually pretty philosophical about these things....they happen....

. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Your car wouldn't start and so you called the RAC without looking under the bonnet yourself to try and solve the problem in the first instance-are you female?

Along the same lines, our old housemate was about to climb into his car early one winter morning years ago when he felt something was odd. All 4 brand new tyres were gone leaving the car neatly propped up on the bricks that they had nicked from the renovation across the street. While we're waiting for the police, neighbour arrives but instead of tea & sympathy, the grumpy sod demands his bricks back!

In response to this, I didn't have time to check as I had to jump on the bus to get to my footy match in time. But yes, the following day, the misses did call out the rac before looking under the hood as I was at work. To be fair, I would've known, but not tried to replace it....

When I was a student in Glasgow I was borrowing my dads jeep and had it parked outside my flat. Someone broke in and stole nothing except a big catering size tub of Jellybelly jelly beans despite it having an amazing radio that we had spent a bit of money on. We concluded that it was simply students high on something who got the munchies!
