lucky you put this up, I had the 21st in my head for some reason and even told James that date!! whoops

I'll be there.. Remind me which one it is? M - Jaws will have been out two nights running so may not make it, if she doesnt can I walk there and back with you? Is it possible to sit to eat at 8? x

I think Mrs Jack is looking to come along - but just saw the "it's opposite Swadesh" comment above -

Radiant Bhuna will already know it's opposite Jaflong, next to Surma. If anyone goes opposite Swadesh they will have a dank and cold night outside a closed Moxon's

Good luck for Friday Lurker! (I'm eagerly awaiting the witty comments from the others, what part are you playing?) :)

A healthy nine of us at Veer Zarra last night. Good compnay and food, although some of the popadoms were somewhat soft.

The company was enlivered by a curry club virgin who plnged the conversation into good natured smut and depravity.

Much amusement caused by the Midwife who cant spot a pregnancy from 3 paces.

?20 each for a slap up meal.

I promised to remind people about their Elvis night (mentioned further up this thread), concider yourselves reminded.

Pip pip.

    • Charities rely on cheques. If you have ever been to a funeral recently, there is a tendency for family/friends to request donations to charities instead of flowers Cash and cheques are usually given (funeral directors usually prefer cheques which they send off to the appropriate organisations.} if you do not operate an on line banking account- you cannot scan cheques. Banks are still sending our cheques books and paying in slips. Churches still take cheques for one off 'payment' i.e. hall hire. Hubby received a cheque from Tax Office as they had over charged him. Also a cheque from a shares company - interest on a couple of shares- under £40 for the year.
