Well. that was jolly good fun! 12 people in the Curry Cabin, good food, swiftly served by their friendly and efficient staff. Poppadum's, Starters, Mains and plenty of drinks came to 24 Pounds each; and we all got free drinks afterwards. Excellent.

It was good to see familiar faces and new people, who seemed to enjoy themselves greatly.

After a discussion, the consensus was that the next meeting will be at Omrith http://www.omrith.com/ on Forest Hill Road. We will eat at 8pm-ish and meet in The Rose http://www.therosedulwich.co.uk/ from 7pm-ish. The Rose Pub is next door to Omrith.

Hi all

Myself and my sister are new to area and would love to meet new people. From reading the earlier posts and people forgetting were they live after the curry night!?! - sounds right up our street.

I have joined the FB page and will put the 5th Feb in our diary.

Looking forward to it already - see yea then

    • If the road is residential with light traffic then it should be fine for children to cycle on, dependent on their age with or without adult supervision.   West Sussex offer family cycle training: https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/road-safety/one-to-one-cycle-training/ Year six's should have also had the opportunity to have cycle training at scool: https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/road-safety/cycle-safety-courses-for-schoolchildren/#level-2-term-time-course And they also offer holiday courses and advanced children's courses: https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/road-safety/cycle-safety-courses-for-schoolchildren/bikeability-level-3-booking-form/ Finally the school should have a travel plan to reduce the reliance on being driven to school and increase active travel.
    • Big fan of Tommy. He has been servicing our boiler for a few years now and was also happy to fit a new tap for us today in the same visit. Reliable, knowledgeable and reasonable. Highly recommend!
    • Yep, The Cherry Tree.   I couldn't tell how old the listing is I'm afraid. It was on Yelp, so that may date it.   Very roughly, I'd say it was about twenty something years ago. Just before it became The Vale.
    • Hello,  We live near the gardens and i'm interested to see what the catchment is like for getting into Harris Primary Academy or Heber Primary. Have many people been successful on waitlists?
