minimac
I'm flying with my husband and one year old on a domestic flight next weekend. We've booked in one suitcase but my question relates to baby baggage - we are hoping to take our maclaren buggy and the backpack baby carrier. We've flown several times with a buggy and car seat or travel cot but will the backpack be treated like another baby necessity or will the airline kick up a stink?? We can't afford to get landed with some ridiculous 'excess baggage' charge! Does anyone have any experience? ludoscotts
hi check your airlines website it should have a section in the faq's about travelling with children but generally whenever we have flown we have been able to fly with 2 baby related items so any 2 of the following travel cot, buggy, backpack, pram.but your airlines website should have all the info you need. I would say if you have a sling/carrier to take it with you, although you can take the buggy up to the plane when leaving we have never got the buggy back when getting off the plane, it has always come bac k with the luggage which means holding the baby for a long time.
