Sold: coffee machine

Recommended Posts

I am selling my lovely Gaggia Classic coffee machine to free up worktop space. It makes espresso or longer coffees and has a milk frother (rarely used).

It is the model reviewed here: https://coffeeblog.co.uk/gaggia-classic-espresso-machine/

I cannot find the instruction manual but they are easy to download from the internet.

The machine takes ESE coffee pods (like compostable tea-bags) rather than plastic and aluminium capsules. I like the Illy ones best https://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/illy-Cafe-Espresso-18-Single-Servings/43411011 but there is lots of choice. In the alternative you can use ground coffee.

My machine is a few years old (which means it has all metal parts), but works well. It needs intermittent de-scaling because of the local hard water. I have recently done this and will throw in the spare de-scaling sachets.

I also have some decaffeinated pods which you are welcome to take although their best before date is fairly soon.

These machines sell well second hand and I would really like ?50 for it.

Please DM me if you would like to have a look.
