After school nanny 2-3 days a week

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

We're looking for an after school nanny 2-3 afternoons a week. Home and school are in central East Dulwich and we're looking for someone who can collect the kids at 3.20 and look after them until 6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and possibly one other afternoon, which is negotiable.

We have two boys aged 9 and 6 who are fun-loving, happy and easy to look after kids. No need to supervise homework, we just need someone to spend a few hours playing with them and to serve a healthy tea.

There would be plenty of additional hours in terms of babysitting and holiday nannying, if that suited you.

Please get in touch if this sounds like you - thanks!

Hi Poppy,

I?m 20 years old and a university student home for the summer and I?m available from within the next week or so. I have around 4 years of babysitting experience and have previously worked as a nanny for two families so have plenty of references and experiences. I hope to hear back from you.

Thank you, Jessica

Hi Middy, I would need help for 3 days a week (Mon-Tue-Wed). We live in ED and have an 8yo boy and a 5yo girl. They go to a local school and our house is in walking distance from the school. Are you still available? Would you like to meet/discuss?

Please let me know, I look forward to hearing back from you

thank you

Silvia

    • Stewart Lee, who I have seen numerous times, played a gig 18 months ago in Peckham, turning up late and doing around 12 mins of an expected headliner slot.  He has no social media presence and is uncontactable.  I complained to the ticket agents and promoters to no avail.  Obviously I wouldn't boycott a paper due to this incident. With hard copy print declining more liberal media need support irrespective of how easy it is to pick holes.  The decline of regional and local papers has compounded the issue of so many drawing their information from the right wing/populist press, and unverified reports on social media.
    • Avoid companies that are run by non trades people Seems to be the trend lately. Check them on Companies house first. There are some great family companies or sole traders. LMQ Roofing 07860 467708 [email protected] ANR Roofing 08009330439 Fist on my list is Liam McQueen https://www.lmqroofingservices.com/ Honest, reliable, constant updates, proper written quotes professional and lovely polite workers. Great work. Also though we did not use them in the end ANR Roofing based in Wimbledon offered some sound advice and quote.  Also very lovely family run firm. And Crest Roofing based in EC1V 2NX came and gave a quote and seemed very lovely with some advice also. 07934 975769
    • Had a terrible experience with this company recently. Their rooofers were abusive and really not nice. Simple job to remove an aerial which we knew would mostly cost in scaffold turned into a nightmare, They dug up old rotten boards in our front garden (there for beetles) and use under the scaffold. When we questioned the positioning of the scaffold (we needed it down the side and not on top of plants and garden) I received a torrent of offensive teenage sexist shouting. The main guy doing this was called Jimmy. They did eventually remove the aerial (no tools to do so I had to supply) They told us the side of the hip needed new timbers and re-roofing. We'd recently had it inspected and it looked good (I'm a carpenter by trade and went and looked at rafters inside - no issue. They seemed to take offense at my carpentry knowledge also. They pulled ridge tile off then told us it would be 3200 to repair!! Stood on a non load bearing lead canopy and more.  Left cooked food and rubbish in garden, Just avoid them is my advice. One of an ever increasing number of firms owned not by trades people who subcontract and pay the scaffolders pennies. I'll do recommendations in another post!
