Wanted: pebbles/Shingle for garden project

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has any spare or leftover pebbles or shingle for a gardening project. I don't think I need loads (not sure how much at the moment!) and I can come and collect.

On a very tight budget, hoping to get it as cheaply as possible :)

  When it went from £20 to £40, we started sharing a bin and increased our composting efforts. But £84 is just too much to bear. I can see this having unintended consequences.

  1) if you don't have much green waste, you can buy 20 sacks for £40 and the council will collect and dispose of them 2) if you can find a private company that will collect a bin of green waste every week for £1.61 a throw...
