Hey rugby fans,

Try Time Kids' Rugby is back for the Summer Term! If you struggle to find things to do with your little ankle biters on Friday or Saturday mornings, why not come down to Try Time Kids' Rugby in Belair Park and let us take them off your hands for an hour? As well as transferable sports skills, we teach our 2-7 year old members the four pillars of sports that Try Time was founded on, encouraging them to be energetic, imaginative, inclusive and respectful.

Sessions run 10-11am on Fridays, as well as 10-11am and 11.15am-12.15pm on Saturdays.

Both boys and girls welcome. Sibling discounts available!

Hi Kate saw your message and thought I?d respond about girls team sports. my daughter who has just turned 9 plays girls football, with Football Magic on a Saturday at Charter North Dulwich and then the girls Utd wildcats session on a Sunday morning on at Peckham Rye.

I believe also that if your daughter wanted to play rugby that there are a couple of local clubs that coach and run sessions for that age group which I believe are mixed at that age Kings college hospital rugby club and Old Alleyian club.

I have also seen girls cricket being advertised at the cricket club on the south circular.

Finally back to the original post for younger kids Trytime is fantastic. My son did Trytime and loved it so much, Coach Kat is great - and still talks about her and Trytime.
