TillieTrotter
We had an amazing goose for Christmas day which we purchased at Smithfields Market. You could also try Borough Market. Good Luck and enjoy. Mmmmmm Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2255-goose/#findComment-64827 Share on other sites
SeanMacGabhann
On the subject, I've never actually had goose.. recommendations like that nudge me in the right direction to remedy that - cheers Tillie Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2255-goose/#findComment-64828 Share on other sites

Annasfield
I know I'll get shot down in flames for this, but you'll probably be able to get one from Sainsburys. We always find that they're reduced after Christmas, as most people prefer turkey. We went out for Christmas lunch, but has a beautiful roast goose on Boxing day. :)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2255-goose/#findComment-64832 Share on other sites

SeanMacGabhann
it's actually still making me chuckle - when you said you would be shot down in flames by mentioning Sainsbo's, I'm an obvious candidtate but it's Christmas! I'm not shooting flames at anyone...But MP summarised my (by now recorded as a macro) usual response so well I'm STILL chuckling a few sentences later... bless 'im Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2255-goose/#findComment-64841 Share on other sites
