Cognitive dissonance self-diagnosis

Interesting Johnl, Science has made great advancements and continued to learn, it seems the only thing that is absolute (im assuming this means no room for another way to observe it) is change, which is pretty exciting if we can recognise that without it taking away what has been found and allowing different observations.

I think this scientific view has also reflected on our thinking today, where there is a struggle to understand or respect others observations without it taking away your own beliefs.

I found the word "cognitive dissonance" used in an article today :) double points surely as he also uses "democratic deficit"
