Trevor Moore
There is a public meeting on 19th March to discuss 'replacing' the stolen Hepworth. Here's the email from the Head of Parks:From: Powell, Paula On Behalf Of Wade, John Sent: 28 February 2012 15:01 Subject: Replacement of Barbara Hepworth Artwork in Dulwich ParkDear Consultee RE: Replacement of Barbara Hepworth Artwork at Dulwich Park I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a public consultation meeting to identify a suitable plan to replace the above artwork that was sadly stolen late last year from Dulwich Park. The good news is that the artwork is insured and it has been decided that the budget from the insurance funding will be ring fenced to provide replacement(s) artwork in Dulwich Park. As such it is proposed that the open consultation meeting will focus on:1. Identifying possible locations for future artwork 2. Discuss options for commissioning of new pieces of artwork The meeting will be held on the 19 March 2012 at 6.30-7.30pm at the following address: THE PARISH OF ST BARNABAS DULWICH St Barnabas Church 40 Calton Avenue London SE21 7DG Please can you confirm back to Paula Powell (paula.powell@southwark.gov.uk) that you will be able to attend this meeting.Best wishes John Wade Parks and Open Spaces Manager Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22469-after-hepworth/ Share on other sites
