I find this Overground train line unreliable. Almost every train into Clapham is held at red for 4-5 minutes waiting for one to come the other way. So bad timetabling as well.

The overground is not perfect - and often held for minutes at a time. But still vastly more reliable than the Southern service. Especially in the evenings.
