And I would add that for gay christians, marriage is as important to them as is it to you Silverfox, and for the same reasons. Once you start saying to someone, you can be part of our club, but not have access to the same rules/ opportunity etc, then you make a mockery of their membership. Whichever way you look at it, it's just blatent prejudice and totally wrong.

I totally agree H that marriage was not invented by the church and rather, has been hijacked for their own ends.
