Are you pregnant and feeling nervous, worried or finding it hard to relax?

Would you like to take part in some research?

Whilst pregnancy is mostly a positive experience, it is common for women to also feel nervous, anxious, worried or to find it hard to relax.

As part of my doctoral research in Clinical Psychology, I am interested in talking to pregnant women who have worries arising in pregnancy, and their partners, about how they support each other.

Your experiences may help health professionals to understand how they can best support women who have worries during pregnancy.

To find out more about the study or if you and your partner are interested in taking part, please or contact me, Hannah Levy. I am a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at University College London (UCL).

bump.

I know Hannah from the Doctorate course in Clinical Psychology at UCL and as a mom of a 4 month old daughter have only recently been through pregnancy myself. I understand both from a personal perspective and from that of a psychologist just how important research in this area is. Unfortunately Hannah has been struggling to recruit participants as this is a sensitive issue. I would like to encourage people to get in touch with her if they might be interested in taking part. Or alternatively if you know someone who might wish to take part, maybe you could pass her details on to them.
