Okay..... He's not that expensive because he uses MDF instead of wood although I'm sure he could manage that too. He's a genius! Think of your storage problem and he will fix it. No space too small, too awkward, too annoying or too impossible will phase this man from creating the perfect storage solution. He is completely house trained and a fantastic guy. He has experience with design, colour and interiors so will be able to advise you on all sorts of things to ensure that your house is working perfectly. Can't recommend him enough. We have been using him for years and he has solved many a storage issue for us! Please contact me if you want to see photos or arrange a visit to view the quality of his work. Otherwise, call him direct...

I would also like to recommend Matt for any carpentry work that you may have.

He came over the day after I phoned and gave me the most reasonable quote. He also gave suggestions which we ended up going with as were better than my ideas :)

He always turned up on time, very polite, very child friendly!, cleared up afterwards and finished earlier than expected.

The finished results are great (pls pm me if you would like photos)

He's absolutely lovely and we will definitely be using him again.

I would also like to recommend Matt. He has just completed some sitting room cupboards and fitted bedroom wardrobes for me. Both are great quality with good finishing. Matt also came up with some creative solutions for an awkward space in our loft. Both jobs were completed in the time in stated, with little mess and for a good price for the level of work. They are both MDF but they??ve been completed so well ?V you would never guess they weren??t real wood. I couldn??t have asked for more ??

    • You can take any old clothes or any other fabric like tea towels  to Primark stores. They all have collection boxes. Any old clothes and rags that can't be reused are recycled for other uses like toy stuffing and insulation
    • Got loads of frogspawn.  Don't have that much success as can't keep it in the pond as the newts eat it.  I took the first clump out yesterday and put it in a bucket with netting on top.  The loads more appeared.,... Last year I kept it like this and then transferred to some large plant saucers when they were near to walking onto land.  Had to top up the water, provide shade as they will have cooked in the sunshine, and fed with boiled cabbage, kale or other green stuff. I got a few froglets.  two or three years ago I picked up some spawn from someone in SE22 who had a whole nursery, numerous ponds, in their back garden. Never seen any baby newts or spawn, maybe have ten or more, but I know they go roaming.
    • Newts, ducks, from my understanding cats and dogs don't eat frogspawn, they may eat tadpoles.  Continuing this conversation on the nature thread.
    • You lose the moral high ground as soon as you call people clowns.  I don't know why so many of you have to bring the conversation down,  I've made the same point on other threads.  Have a look at what you posted - do you think insults made your view any more valid?  Sadly too many discussions descend in this way.  As said this applies to many others who post here. I can, and do, complain, about a variety of goods and services.  In the last 20 years or so try to keep it civil.  And look back on some of my past behaviours with some embarrassment.
