Cycle route to Marathon preparations Sat April 27th 10am

Not Marathon in Greece but THE Marathon this Sunday. This ride will look at how London is getting ready. Not getting in the way.


It starts in Peckham Square which is between Peckham Library and Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre, SE15 5JR. The most obvious landmark is probably the Arch and picture is attached. The ride starts at 10am and finishes two hours later in the same place. Riders will be making their way over to the starting line of the Marathon (not the start which is on Sunday) and there's an alternative meeting place at St Mary's Gate into Greenwich Park at the end of King William Walk at around 10.35am.


This is the usual easy-paced ride on mostly quiet streets and paths. This London Marathon-themed ride will be lead by Simon (veteran of many London marathons) who will talk about about this famous event. The route isn't finalised yet but provisionally it will be
