Eileen
Hi peckham_ryuCan you come to our community meeting to discuss the Council's recommendations for all day controls throughout 'Peckham West' CPZ. The meeting is on Saturday 4th May 2pm in Amott Road Baptist church hall (near Adys Rd end of Amott Road). It would be really helpful if we could hear from your experience in Chadwick Rd of the CPZ with just 2 hours restriction. Roads currently swamped with all day parking might be reassured that partial controls can work.peckham_ryu Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> I have been converted from opposing CPZ in my> road, to being unexpectedly pleased with the> actual effect. Eileen
An update on this: There is a follow up meeting on Thursday 23rd May 6-8pm in the Amott Road Baptist Church. Council Officers in charge of the CPZ proposal will be present to answer a number of questions we have collected that local residents have about the way the CPZ process operates. The aim is to clarify all ambiguities and find out how it works in practice and how that deals with the varied parking issues in the streets affected. A poster is attached. If you live in the streets covered by this CPZ and want to come to the meeting please register on eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/peckham-west-cpz-tickets-62000096959 - so we have an idea how many are coming. That also gives you more info. If you are not on the mailing list for this please email info@peckhamvision.org and give your street address and name.
