Hi to all,

Its the Friday Rah Rah time!

Mum2be, this group is the really easy peasy entry level back into fitness, but actually more about having fun with a team. As births and conditions change between mums, I always recommend that when you feel ready and confirmed by your GP / midwife, then thats when to join us. If you can walk at ease for 200m, lift a 2 Ltr bottle of milk from the fridge to the surface, then that is more-or-less what we do.

If you are viewing this for the first time and would like to join the fitness group, this is all you need to do:

* Fill in a health from on www.AHM-Go.com, then email back to [email protected]

* meet for Sat at 9-20am by the caf? on / in the Rye for a 9-30am start

* This lasts for 20-mins and we use every second :-)

* Bring a 1Ltr bottle of water for arm, shoulder & back toning (and drinking)

* Bring some change for a tea / coffee at the end.

We walk / powerwaler to c.200m then stop, stretch, tone or something funky but...... nothing that you wouldn't do at home or in the park. No twists or bends of the tummy area, only semi squats, and arm toning with your hand no higher than your shoulder as I don't want to engage you Abs (sorry :'( )

And..... its completely FREE, and the group are really friendly!

See you there!

Good JOB guys!

As parents of a nearly 17 year old and an 18 year old we took the opportunity to have a break 'sans' children or actually young adults to Bath for Friday & Saturday. Sunday we spent as a family on the South Bank and in Covent Garden and today we did Shakespeare in Stratford upon Avon!

Catch you all next Saturday morning!

McCabe

OK guys,

Are we all ready for the morning. And if its nice and mild, we can finish of with some Chi Gung (parts of Tai Chi!)..... and its all for FREE!

See you there, 9-20am for a 9-30am start.... meeting by the caf?

Hi Eli, mums and mums to be...

Project London Health is forming two steering groups on Health & Fitness, and Events & PR's. It would be good to gets some 'real-time' comments on to our report and will be the usual press: What, where, why, who, how etc...

The benefits of 20-mins Low Impact Cardio

* What is the routine and effects: A simple 20-min routine, no jogging, no transverse twisting, no stress on the abs or on the pelvic floor. The sense of meeting others and feeling refreshed is a great way to start the weekend, and with a tea / coffee at the end.

* Where do you do this? The group uses the paths and grass in the lower part of the park which helps to tone the gluts.

Etc.... So if you would like your views recorded to help make the fitness groups more engaging and appealing to others in the community, please post a message or PM me.

We have the FREE 10am fitness group and the FREE cycle group is converting to achieveable challenges shortly, 6 per year and each one to raise awareness of a local health-care charity. The first one with be for Children and Young people in remission, so this will be a perfect one to start with.

See you on Satuday.

McCabe.

    • Community Notice Boards were  set up by councillors for the local community to advertise their meetings etc. Originally these had padlocks and keys were given to local community groups i.e Tenants and Residents' Association. Our T&RA used to advertise our meetings, AGMs, social activities, public meetings (i.e. hustings) Give and Take events, Southwark Council run groups/events. Unfortunately the padlocks were broken and boards vandalised. Our T&RA managed to get the Lordship Lane (Small Sainsbury) one refurbished and one in Underhill Road. However, it took ages for our local councillor to discover where the keys to these padlocks were left. We had 2 people from our T&RA who regularly posted details of events and activities in the East Dulwich Community Centre. The padlocks were again broken, and various flyers were posted which rarely had any connection with the area. We have a lady, in her 80s, who several times a year still goes round posting details of our and EDCCs activities, Look out for posters announcing the next Give and Take in February, our T&RAs AGM in April.
    • As most customers going to M&S do not get there via North Cross Road and most people going down North Cross Road are not going to M&S that's not really surprising
    • Can anyone recommend a good takeaway for a mild biryani.  Thanks.
    • You are seeing the Lenovo logo because that  is generated by the system's firmware, known as the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) This is part of the Power-On Self-Test (POST) process, which checks basic hardware functionality. If the system fails to proceed past the logo screen, it could indicate that the BIOS/UEFI cannot locate or access the bootable operating system. This is often due to:  If the drive has failed then  the BIOS won't find the necessary files to load the OS.  Even if the SSD is operational, bootloader corruption could cause the same issue.  Misconfigured boot order or settings in the BIOS/UEFI might prevent booting.   Diagnosing SSD Failure: To confirm whether the SSD is the problem: Enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing a key like F2, DEL, or ESC during startup). Check if the SSD is detected in the storage or boot section. Run any available diagnostics tools in the BIOS. If the SSD isn't recognized, it's likely failed or has a loose connection. Alternatively, you can boot the system using a live USB or external OS to verify SSD accessibility.
