As a suggestion - pretend there's a film crew following you round and put into practice all the things you know from these programmes

eg get down on eye level and speak in a serious voice

and remember if it gets too much, just walk away for a moment and regroup

I like to think of myself as a super nanny lol just be firm and don't give in, stick to your word and depending on age you could try a reward chart!
