Aye, also live on Copleston Road and we had that last night, spoke to the neighbours, who also had no water, but hadn't actually done anything about it. We then rang up Thames Water, who said they'd started to get some reports in so they were going to investigate. Apparently, if just one person rings up reporting a problem, they ignore it, as they assume the problem is in your own house. The moral of this story, ring someone and start complaining if it happens again!

I suggested to the Thames Water representative that they should put information about known problems on their website, so that everyone can see the latest status - and then only have to contact TW if the problem is unknown. They are apparently already planning to introduce this functionality soon. Also good to know how the alerts system works Numbnuts, thanks for the info. Are you a keen cyclist, or is there some other reason for your screen name?

WOW! Three of us on Copleston Road!

And more importanlty I now know why the shower had a wobbler when I used it this afternoon. Maybe someone should tell Thames Water about the leak on the path near Soames street. That's going to be a helluva slide by tomorrow morning!!!
