White hydrangea and evergreen magnolia owners...

I'm trying to fill my garden on the cheap, as unfortunately my husband just lost his job. Is there any kind soul out there who would let me take a free hydrangea clipping to grow on? Also, I would live to try air- layering an evergreen magnolia if you have a tree? I cant exchange much as my garden is pretty bare, but I do have a bay tree and a small jasmine. Also next year, will have an apple and plum tree that will need some pruning for a future swap.

Hi Laura - I have a large evergreen magnolia tree and it needs cutting back a bit, so you'd be welcome to take some of it - do you want to send me a private message to talk about it?

I've got hydrangeas too, but have just given them a hard prune so they may not be much use to you.
