Carrie
All work is finished and the lights have gone. Traffic was flowing freely at lunchtime. Miacis
Do hope they kept the fight the cuts poster there - just next to the keep left sign. Renata Hamvas
To confirm this is now all done and dusted (well until the next time the roundabout gets damaged!)Renata Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22052-goose-green-roundabout/page/3/#findComment-538579 Share on other sites
Only me!
I had hoped that they would have actually carried out some modifications rather than just tidy it up.The tidy up is most welcome.BUTReducing the diameter by a meter or two, would probably have made it less prone to damage & smoothed the traffic flow round it somewhat. They seem to have taken the best part of a week to refurb what will only get damaged again fairly quickly. Would it have been more disruptive to take a few days longer to re-model?Oh well.
