HelBel65
Hi all. About to move to Overhill Road and just looked at Google maps to find the best walking route to HOP station. Apart from Overhill Passage, it just shows roads. Anyone know of a footpath map of the area, or even better, a nicer or greener route between those 2 points? Thanks! computedshorty
It is a shame you did not decide to move to Overhill Road years ago. There used to be a railway station in Wood Vale called Honour Oak facing the Cemetery. henryb
The green chain walk path should take to you to One tree hill then it is just down the hill to the station. http://www.greenchain.com/walks/section-11.phpIt is fantastic in spring. Ideally there would be a path through Camberwell New cemetery straight to the station but it is all fenced off. HelBel65
Well, yes that's fascinating but going back to my question B) - apart from the Green Chain link (thanks for that) is there actually such thing as a footpath map....or at least a walking map for the area?PS someone very cleverly altered the name of my thread - much more helpful actually so thank you! AbDabs
Footpaths are marked on OS maps. I haven't actually used the customised service but might be worth a tryCustomised OS maps Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21966-footpaths-around-overhill-road/#findComment-523288 Share on other sites
