sophiechristophy
Hi everyone, Here is a link to the new study on weaning which has been much reported over the last day or so. http://bmjopen.bmj.com/content/2/1/e000298.full.html#ref-list-1S Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21901-new-weaning-study/ Share on other sites
echo
thanks for posting the link, esp as I've missed this topic in the media. The report makes for interesting reading. The main conclusions are that BLW leads to more self control over food intake and an increased liking for carbs. The spoon feeders have higher obesity rates and prefer sweet foods. Fuschia
I think most commercial pur?ed baby food is very sweet, so that makes sense ... Though there is nothing in the report about what sort of pur?es were used Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21901-new-weaning-study/#findComment-521909 Share on other sites
