Ive just moved to Woodside near south Norwood, have been an artist for 24 years full time and now have a lovely studio in my house and un-blanded period features ...wood panelling, huge garden, and a walk in larder.....love it. lived in east Dulwich 15 yers ago but  it went a bit corporate!  Which is fine but I didnt fit. here there are lots of parks everywhere, and the most lovely peace, trams to Wimbledon.  Lots of creatives moving to here as it is on orange line to hoxton and they can buy a house here.....I hope you find a lovely area and house! xxx

I don’t know that area but I’d love a house with a walk in larder.    What period is your house?

Its a post bombing 1940s house on a row of victorian houses.

And since the bombing, LOL no one has ripped anything out, still has really well preserved outside lean-to loo.. so cute .Have the feeling quite a few are like that.

favourite house ive ever had, even compared to Dulwich village house.

    • Quincy Jones Born March 14, 1933, Chicago, Illinois, U.S. Died November 3, 2024 (aged 91), Los Angeles, California, U.S. Simply a musical legend of his time who's contribution to RnB, Soul and jazz music should never be under estimated.  Record producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and film and television producer. He worked with many of the soul and jazz legends himself, and he has a back catalogue of material I urge you to listen to and enjoy. He will be sadly missed.

Fortunately we had a separate circuit for the first floor so could boil up a kettle. Leon when rang advised he could come this afternoon, turned up and checked every thing and got power back on and to call him back if we had any more problems. Reasonable rate considering it was an emergency call out. Nice chap, very helpful, would recommend.
