Well I hung up my axe years ago (ok I still annoy the neighbours and the family), but I do miss the odd gig down at the local (not that many places put on live music these days).

So I'm looking for like minded people, who can play a bit of Rock/Blues, who like me have little time and family

commitments, to get together, Jam maybe put a small set together and have a blast now and again when time allows.

Any takers

I have a flute hammer to go with your axe.

So, what shall we call ourselves?

"The Carpenters"

:-S

(anyone play the Saw?)

Well not heard from Wilhelm, why are drummers rare as hen teeth. OK I live with one, but he's only 7.

Robinson. Bass. You're in (again rare as hens teeth).

Any body interested PM me so we can arrange a Jam. The more the merrier.

Music style I'm not too fussed about will try anything, as long as it's not country and western,

or a king crimson tribute band, love the stuff but not exactly a crowed pleaser ;o)

And yes I do have a Marshall stack ;o)

I'm crap acoustic guitar player, crapper on 5-string banjo, crappy voice and crap harmonica player (though can do that by ear). Played at 12-bar and 100 Club nevertheless. Have some songs if you need some. So if you're running out of options feel free to shout me. Mainly follow American roots, punk and ska.

Also I can give you a spot on 12 Dec as I'm running a band night then (not a bribe).

    • I don't understand this, probably my fault. I thought the Crown offices were going to close completely and the  services they provided were going to be moved to local shops with space for a sub post office. But if the Post Office is  seeking franchisees for the Crown offices, that implies that the offices themselves would stay. But if they are not profitable for the Post Office, how could they become profitable for a franchisee?

    • Hi all, if you see this “charity” We R Blighty, who collect for homeless veterans, do not give them money. I saw them outside M&S on Lordship Lane this week. They are under investigation by Kent police, they do not donate the majority of your money, rather they pocket up to 60%.  Article from iNews
    • Recommendation for Gary the plumber. I found his details on another thread before I signed up to EDF but can't seem to find that thread now. Had a long term issue where I had used a few plumbers who weren't able to rectify my problem. Called Gary on the off chance & what a relief it's fixed. A massive thank you. Nice bloke, friendly & ran me through everything he did. Kept the cost low for me. His number is now saved in my phone. Gary Johnson  = 07882642799
