So little tinker is 1 in a few weeks, which we would like to mark in some way in celebration.

Has anyone ideas on what to do in the area for a 1 year old. His older brother (4) and friends will be there, and our friends of course, and some younger babies.

Options curently are

Get together at home

Book a table for back room of the Dog.

Having a lack of ideas, so thought would post here in a collective brainstorm. Ideally would love to find somewhere which serves food / drink, but has a largish space that can be sole use for us, for kids to crawl / tear about in. : )

many thanks

DJ

I'm not sure if you want to be in Dulwich itself? If not, the Old Nun's Head in Nunhead has a large function room upstairs which is great for parties. They serve food and drink. I think the Mag on Lordship Lane also hires out its upstairs function room. The Herne (Forest Hill Road) has a separate function room out in the garden. I'm sure there are more I can't think of right now...

    • Our cat Booboo has been missing since early Sunday morning (09 March).   He's a three-year-old male cat with black fur (short).    He's recognisable from having very big feet - I think about two extra toes on each paw.   He's very nervous of strangers and doesn't go out the front of our house - he mainly hangs out in the back gardens on our block (Goodrich/Barry/Friern Road).   If you spot him please let us know (07771915355).

    • That's useful, thank you - I've got a Primark near my work. Primark is (perhaps surprisingly) also one of the most diligent when it comes to labour rights in the supply chain, and I have to say the bits I've had from there have been quite good quality and lasted a long time. But otoh it's still fast fashion I suppose.
