Hi

I have a 2 year old girl who is very active and loves running around. (She hardly ever sits!) I mostly take her over the weekends outdoors to the parks to run around but really would like to know if anyone can recommend any indoor activities or classes for her age on Saturdays please.

Thanks for your help

Sarah

Hi

We sometimes take our v active 17 month old to Bea's Baby Music or Baby Booters (at JAGs) on a Saturday morning. Or for something less structured, we go to soft play at Brixton rec, Beckenham Spa or National Army Museum. He also loves the basement of the Science Museum.

Or there's family swimming at Crystal Palace?

There's also a trampolining class at JAGS on Saturdays (drop-in, but helpful to call ahead and reserve a spot in the week, because it books up). And I understand one of the coaches from one of the other children's football programs is starting a new class at St. Saviour's Church in Brockley on Saturday mornings. We would go if we could get there easily without a car, but unfortunately can't.

    • Please let me know if you have any pallets that you would like to be taken away.  Thank you.
    • Luckily that is an old closed telephone exchange building,  rather than someone's house.
    • Seriously though, I hope nobody was harmed in the making of that, because they must have veered right across the road before crashing, and only just avoided the tree. They must have been going pretty fast. Asleep at the wheel? Medical issue? Drunk? Young or stupid people messing about with a stolen car? (Apologies to young people, I know most of you aren't reckless). It was lucky they didn't hit something going in the opposite direction ( at least, I assume/hope they didn't) before they went over the wall. But I'm confused, because the broken part of the wall is in front of the car. Did they reverse in an attempt to get the car off the wall, and then made things worse? 😮
    • Oh, so that's what 'off street parking' means.
