I know it's not a first post, if that's what you mean? You can see the number of posts a forum member has made by clicking on the letter next to their name. You can also see when they joined the forum and you can see what recent posts they have made. Do you know that the OP was "posting for a friend", or are you just guessing? -

That might have been the case if it was a first post, but it isn't, which makes it less likely. It would be sad if people were put off from posting on here when they have had a good experience at a new local business because they think it will be assumed that they have some connection with the business.

That’s because number of applications is irrelevant - most private school parents apply for a state school place as well and always have done. It’s how many take up the place in the end, so it’s too early to call. But a 9% increase in applications isn’t insignificant. They should also look at sixth forms because that’s where the squeeze is more likely to be felt.
