Dear book group,

First of all thank you to everyone who has taken part in meetings or followed from afar.

Our first meeting was January 2009 and it?s been an absolute pleasure to have met so many nice people and we have had many good times along the way.

Many of you have been to Radio four?s book club which has always been a pleasurable experience.

Many of you will have been to one of my BBQ?s and hopefully we can have one this summer. We now have an international flavour with Anita joining in from Canada and perhaps Helen will take part from Hong Kong.

Our next meeting will be on the 20th January and as usual it?s a zoom meeting.

?Hamnet? by Maggie O?Farrell is not available in paperback until 1 April 2021. So we can read ?The Spire? by William Golding in February and leave Hamnet until later in the year.
