That was a pretty good entrance - and Maurice has since become an essential Edfer.

What about the thread about the scratched Porsche! certainly caused a lot of heat. One guy took real exception and threw all his toys out the pram and promised not to come back and the other threw a hissy fit before warming to the banter and sort of climbing on board. (I'm deliberately not searching that thread to see if I remember things correctly)

I loved the limericks. 42 pages and counting...including these gems:

There was a new shop named Moxton

that moved to East Dulwich from Hoxton

Their slippery eels..

Resembled baby seals

But was soon bought out by Foxton

When Dulwichmum had a book launch

she had to work hard on her paunch

So she stopped eating cake

For cake eating sake

And stuck with the creamy blancmange

Maurice wants to know about crack

He's hoping that in Santa's sack

There'll be uppers and downers

and a few Golden Browners

A spliff a few Es and some smack

And how about that EDF Scrabble Game somebody spotted in November?

They have never proved anything about Shakespeare and the monkey.

Well the Psalms are attributed to David and Saul but not being familiar with their specific cases I cannot comment on how much time they had on their hands or indeed how many monkeys they had in their employment. Although I believe David left Saul a few wives as inheritance. They lived in what is predominantly citrus country anyway.
