The shop was called FOSTERS and, yes, I felt very uncomfortable there too but the Levis were so darn cheap. The Levis were 'seconds' though with the red tabs cut off. You could always stitch a complete red tab from your worn out 'first Levis onto the seconds and voila: a normal looking pair for less than half the price ! Luckily, I fit standard Levis so the guy never had to do any alterations (phew !) but I always thoroughly had the jeans washed returning home ! I daren't touch anything in that back room, mind ...

    • Oh dear. I waited for ages then used the power button. I had previously got a blue screen  message saying the laptop had "run into a problem" and needed to restart. If memory serves,  it was  ok after it restarted, but then later wouldn't shut down. I did Google and apparently it is a common issue with Windows 10. I haven't had time to investigate yet. Wouldn't you usually get an onscreen message if the system was updating, telling you not to turn off your computer? It has just started ok, but I don't know what will happen now.
    • Anyone looking for a cleaner, I can highly recommend Milena (+44 7845 949064) - she’s very reliable and has done a great job at our place.
    • laptop not shutting down, could be because the operating system is updating
    • Yes. And now the old Dell is playing up again. Wouldn't shut down last night 😭  Clearly I am either very unlucky or something more sinister is going on 🤣🤣🤣
