Highwood Close - parking permit

Hi All,

I'm moving into a new flat in Highwood Close on Lordship Lane in two weeks. I'm trying to find out how I can get a parking permit for one of the parking spaces outside the flat. Unfortunatly the letting agent isn't being very helpful in giving any contact details for arranging this.

Is anyone able to help? Would like to have this sorted in time for my move date.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Polly - I also live there. If you have an allocated parking space, ie one of the numbered ones, the current tenant should have it, so the letting agent will have to get it from them for you.

There are also general building parking spaces, which the letting agent will have to source for you.

You should be OK to park in for a few days without a pass. I saw the parking guys there the other day, and they usually dont turn up that often, unless someone complains.

    • I'm with Octopus, and I have no idea what to do either. Finding it hard to get my head around it all. They seem to have a 15 month fix with no exit fees, however I'm not sure if I exited whether I could just revert to whatever I'm on at the moment, or whether I might find that whatever that is might no longer be an available option. I tend to just heat whatever room I'm in and/or use a heated throw. And use the microwave where possible unless I've got an oven full of stuff which I can then freeze most of.

    • ??? I feel really weak and  dizzy, I don't think it's a good idea at all to be out. And my vitamin D level is actually much too high. Last time I had blood tests, my  GP told me to stop taking vitamin tablets.  But thanks for your concern! I appreciate the advice, but I only came on here to see if other people had similar symptoms!
