potty training - are training pants any good?

I am going to try potty training my toddler girl (27 months). Are training pants any good or should I just use normal knickers from day one? Anyone have any experience/tips please?

Hi Nikki

Yes they work, though not essential they help the process to be a bit less messy if your little one has accidents. I think if you are potty training in the winter they are more valuable than in the summer when you are outside more of the time.
