Marion OHalloran
I have been considering for some time, starting up a group for migraine sufferer's. If anyone knows if a discussion group already exists in East Dulwich please let me know. I feel, and would like to think many people could benefit from such a group. Let me know what you think and any ideas. Thanks EDFMarion[email protected] Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21381-migraine-sufferers/ Share on other sites
cab
Hi Marion, I would be interested in joining this group! I don't think there is anything like this in the local area, I did sme research a while ago. It would be good for people like us to be able to get together. chloe. Spooner
Hi MarionI have no idea how a migraine group would work but I would like to be involved and appreciate your suggestion! Cedges
Hey, I'd def be up for this, any tips and tricks for managing symptoms etc are always greatly appreciated. I'm currently seeing a specialist at City of London Migraine Clinic and am getting some help there but a touch of sympathy from other people in a similar position is also always appreciated! Sue
I can hopefully say this without being accused of having a vested interest, as I don't sell them any more, but a magnotherapy wristband worked for me - I originally got it to sort my arthritic aches and pains (which it did) and it sorted my migraines as well.I hadn't realised it had until I suddenly became aware that I hadn't had a migraine for months (now years - apart from very very very rarely). You need a strong one though, not a cheap wishy-washy one.One of my customers (I started selling them after I had had such good results) had had severe migraines since she was a child, and after she started wearing a wristband, she hardly had any, just the occasional one when she was extremely stressed.ETA: I gave a three month money-back unconditional guarantee, and only had two or three back the whole time I sold them - and of those, clearly one had never actually been worn .... Jessie
My consultant at Kings has put me on medication which was originally for epileptics which I have to take every day - at one point i was getting one or two migraines a week. Now - touch wood - it seems to be one or two a month, stress-levels permitting.
