Our street put them out ready for collection last Tuesday, the rubbish and food bins were emptied but the trees weren’t taken, neighbouring roads were. All back in the front gardens ready for Tuesday. Don’t generalise. -

Christmas trees are pagan, not Christian. It’s the Winter solstice, although it’s obviously easy to overlook the meaning with the consumer fuelled marketing of Christmas. There are fewer trees on the streets than hoses which mean that the majority of people dispose of theirs responsibly.

Brexit does have a bearing on costs. Worse that the masses were promised cheaper prices.
