jollybaby
Easy jet are fine with baby equipment. You don't have to pay extra for the buggy and can take it to the gate. You can also take another piece without charge ie a car seat or travel cot.http://easyjet.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4033/~/equipment-for-infants-and-children Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21191-flying-easyjet-buggies/#findComment-510906 Share on other sites

ClareC
We flew EASYJET in September, 2 under 2 and a double buggy. Couldn't fault them, really good. Buggy folded up at gate and priority boarding. Didn't have to pay for buggy ( you can take two items of cot/cars eat/buggy per child I think). Worth taking a sling as you may have to wait for buggy other end. I was really pleasantly surprised Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21191-flying-easyjet-buggies/#findComment-510953 Share on other sites
buggie
Fab... Have found lightweight car seat for ?30, going to have that & the buggie as our free items, then am considering buying a ready bed instead of the travel cot (unless anyone has ready bed tales of doom for me!!) ClareC
We have recently bought our daughter a ready bed, she loves it. Only difficulty is she isn't in a bed at home so bedtime isn't easy given her new found freedom and excitement at having a Peppa Pig ready bed! MrsLL2b
One good tip I heard is to pay for priority boarding for one of you, that person can go on ahead and bagsy seats for you all and then second person can go on at their leisure with the kids (or have one each etc). ClareC
Don't forget, if two kids under 2 ie not in own seat, the seat between you and your partner (one seat in row) needs to be left empty (or you need to sit in different rows). There are only 4 oxygen masks per row. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21191-flying-easyjet-buggies/#findComment-511175 Share on other sites
jollybaby
Re sleeping gear we've got a lightweight travel cot by phil and teds that we pack inside one of our bags. http://www.mothercare.com/Phil-Teds-Traveller-Travel-Cot/dp/B003VKT6RE. It's not the cheapest but has been great for travelling. I think little life do a similar tent like one. Would have happily lent it to you but will have left East Dulwich by the time you do your trip. :( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21191-flying-easyjet-buggies/#findComment-511188 Share on other sites
The Nappy Lady
We've never paid for speedy boarding because they let families with children under (?) 6 or 8 - cant recall exact age - board as priority after the speedy boarders & we have always got seats we are happy with that way.The year I was pregnant they even let me on with the families - I pointed at my bump (quite big) & said "does this count?" and they waived me through!! ClareC
No, you don't need to book it. Just turn up and they take it from you at the gate. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21191-flying-easyjet-buggies/#findComment-517586 Share on other sites
nylonmeals
Flying EasyJet with babies is a total delight compared to RyanAir which is a hell-ish experience. The EasyJet folks help with buggies, heat bottles and as have been noted, let you board first. ClareC
Couldnt fault them! I was concerned to be flying Easyjet with 2 under 2, had no real choice as there were no scheduled flights to our destination. They were really good and extremely helpful. They came to us to ensure we boarded before anyone else that wasn't speedy boarding (v few were) and advised the flight wasn't full so not to let anyone sit with us (like anyone would want to), thus ensuring a seat for our 1 year old. We flew from Gatwick. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21191-flying-easyjet-buggies/#findComment-517697 Share on other sites
