Xmas Day Volunteering in East Dulwich or Peckham?

My girlfriend and I live in ED and we're looking to volunteer somewhere within walking distance (we don't have a car) of ED on Xmas day. We're not picky about what we do, just want to be helpful and part of community that is trying to help out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
