Peckhamgatecrasher
Anyone else think Lyon has an incredibly inelegant action? Doesn't stop him getting a maiden over, mind. Peckhamgatecrasher
Fair play to Australia. By declaring they have set up an exiting finish to the series. maxxi
What a finish, thought Blowers was going to have a Sean. Stupid ICC rule should now be scrapped - at least it'll put an end to the Aussie moaning about England time wasting and being saved by the light!A better end for England after Clarkes bravado in declaring (which he did as their only chance of winning the game rather than any Corinthian spirit) and their taunting of England as over-cautious - the Aussies got the fright of their lives and now finish the series with relief rather than a swagger. Pietersen in terrific form again. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2096-idle-cricket-musing/page/68/#findComment-673366 Share on other sites

Ted Max
No-one in the press seems to know anything about him, or if they do they haven't written it down. Revered by a billion, 20 year career at the top of his sport, and he's really just a bloke with a bat in his hands. Not sure how he's managed it. Peckhamgatecrasher
There was an interesting article on the BBC website a few days ago. It was about how Tendulkar transcended the caste system - I was completely ignorant and thought that sort of thing had faded out decades ago. Ted Max
Sadly still relevant. You'd probably find them a bunch of hideous lefties but I believe these people do good work raising awareness and lobbying. Alan Medic
I had to smile this morning when I heard of the collapse. So many broadcasters yesterday were saying what a great 1st day England had. It wasn't. It was ok. The Aussies overcame their collapse to post a reasonable score yet it sounded like England had already won the test.
