I'm not sure it matters if he's an alcoholic. He obvioulsy has a 'drink problem' which is to the detriment of his professional life (who knows about his personal life?). I would have thought it might be nice to give him a helping hand.

He has had plenty of help both through his state and the National side. Problem is not just his drinking but the PR. The press have made a big thing of it so he has to be cleaner than clean or it?s the naughty step for him.
