Ecobricks plastic recycling

I?ve been reading about ecobricks- a new idea to reuse plastic as opposed to it going into the waste.

This is essentially plastics like wrapping from fruit and veg, wrapping that keeps multipacks of bottles together etc.

Does anyone know more in terms of how likely we might be to get a drop off point?
