HALF TERM Muddy Boots Older Children sessions with Holly are back! Do your kids want to have a go at bushcraft, learn about nature and get grubby with some adventurous activities outdoors in the woods?

Half term booking is now open!


Please click on the link below for as many of the six sessions as you like.


The sessions have opened up to all primary school aged children. Younger children can still come too!


1.Monday 10-12.30 Firelighting, dens & cooking over a fire


2. Monday 1.30-3.30 Firelighting, dens & fire cooking


3. Tuesday pm 1.30 - 3.30 Working with wood and wool


4. Wednesday 10-12.30 Entomology (study of bugs) and nature art (natural resources and clay)


5. Wednesday 1.30-3.30 Entomology and nature art )


6. Thursday 10-12.30 Firelighting, dens and cooking over a fire.

We'll be having fun, pushing our limits and getting back to nature in the Reserve. All sessions include a snack and a drink at Basecamp with a chat about our favourite bits and what we've learnt.


Morning sessions include the opportunity for families to bring a packed lunch and eat on site during the final half hour.


Come and re-wild in your local Devonshire Road Nature Reserve this half term. Work with wood, wool, fire and clay. Use tools, get grubby!
