Our pre-school Ballet classes are all about having fun whilst learning, giving your child an exciting but worthwhile introduction to Ballet. Using a lovely mix of the IDTA syllabus and creative movement, we aim to help blossom your children into wonderful young dancers.

Preparatory Ballet - 4-6yrs 4.00-4.40pm (Ballet beginners)

Primary Ballet - 7+yrs 4.45-5.30pm (Some ballet knowledge helpful but not essential)

The benefits of taking IDTA Ballet classes with GDND are endless, Ballet promotes strength and flexibility, coordination, posture and grace. Our classes offer enjoyment through the art of Ballet, as well as aiming to aid your child?s confidence and self esteem whilst encouraging their passion for dance and movement.

We host an annual show children perform in, as well as offering opportunities for your child to perform at local community events. Children can take IDTA Ballet exams, if and when your child is ready, and if they choose to take exams, some children do not wish to take exams and we do not pressure children into exam taking if it is not for them.
